As part of the implementation of the project, numerous communication and information channels will be implemented aimed at: (i) seamless exchange between partners, (ii) connections with all interested parties in Malta and Sicily, (iii) the links with the relevant international community so that the project resonates with broader objectives at regional and European level and (iv) reach the general public to deliver an impact on society.
Coordination, timely exchange and information flow between partners are essential for the success of the project. All activities involve joint collaborative work between partners; synergies between component activities are therefore a key to efficient implementation. The Beyond CALYPSO (UNIPA) secretariat, supported by the Maltese partner (UM), will ensure daily contacts and mentoring of partners to bring all parties together and support the implementation of the project according to pre-established objectives, standards and deadlines, following common guidelines and agreed protocols. A partner area on the project website will facilitate this process through shared management and access to project information and results.
The Beyond CALYPSO web portal will provide a project window to: (i) inform about the project, its progress and final results; (ii) host the data access interface for their dissemination; (iii) reach key users by addressing their specific needs and (iv) raise awareness and inform the general public.
The promotion and awareness activities will be carried out, in coordination with the other partners, by partner PP03 (UNICT) on the basis of its specific experience gained during the CALYPSO SOUTH project. Partner PP03 will be involved for promotional activities.
The open seminars foreseen in the project aim to share knowledge on important topics such as blue growth, electronic highways of the sea, maritime spatial planning and environmental management. These seminars will also be an opportunity to share knowledge with representatives of other projects financed by Italy-Malta.
