70.8% of our planet is covered in salt water, did you know?
Our sea is home to a large number of animal and plant species, some still unknown. From the largest mammal in existence, the blue whale, to billions of single-celled organisms that alone produce most of the oxygen in the atmosphere.
Water is therefore among the main constituents of ecosystems and is the most important resource on the planet, indispensable to man and all living organisms.
Among the "ecoservices" naturally provided by the water of the seas and oceans there is one that influences and characterizes the climate: the ability to absorb and release heat towards the coasts, allows coastal areas to benefit from an always mild and pleasant climate compared to continental areas.
Let's protect our sea, let's protect the environment and the organisms living in it!
